Artist's Comments

okay here goes.
This is my latest work. Everthing was modelled in 3dsMAX7. It's by far one of my most complex models and I think it's turned out reasonably well.

I also did some touch-up work in photoshop. - Mainly glows and re-tinting, etc.

Finally I click on the submit button and then filled out this form. (lmao).

Comments are very appreciated, as it's still in production and i'd like some feedback so I can finally finish this piece.

Yeah looks cool. Nice colors and shadows. Looks like something from a movie too. ;)

Thanks. I wasn't exaclty sure what I was concentrating on in this peice. I kinda utilised a bit of everything, but nothing was intensely effective.

that's going to be pretty cool stuff! :D but I think there's a lot of work to do with the lights - those charging/glowing things should be the light sources - when looking at this scene one would expect to see, how the 'electricity' lights the environment with blue, besides - the charging/electrifying object looks as the only or the main (strongest) light source in this scene, so it shouldn't drop shadows on the wall (speaking of the glowing cables that cost shadows on the wall)...
that's all IMO ;)
excellent image to come
:iconpyrotechnick:
hehe. yes i guess those cables are a bit crazy to be casting shadows. thanks for the tips. if i ever get time to work on this agian i will fix what you've said. thanks again
